“Dear friends,

We’re sorry to announce that we have to cancel the first three stops of our upcoming run. Unfortunately, this means we won’t be able to make it to Frankfurt, Hannover, and Berlin just yet. However, we’re hopeful we’ll return to these cities soon – we were really looking forward to exploring new places and reconnecting with old friends.

On a brighter note, we’re thrilled to share some exciting news: MAVIS is finally becoming a 5-piece band again, just as it was originally founded!

Our 2025 show schedule continues to grow, and we’re already beyond excited for the first gigs of the year. We can’t wait to see you, celebrate, and party together again soon!

Das Modern Metalcore-Quartett Mavis, bestehend aus Sänger Phil Donay, Gitarrist Manu Weller, Bassist Mo Amrein und Schlagzeuger Jakob Schulz-Klein, ist wieder da. Nach dem bemerkenswert erfolgreichen Start mit gleich drei Singles (“Insight“, “Monsters“ und “Reflections”) im Jahr 2020 hat die Band aus Süddeutschland nun neue Musik im Angebot. “Tortured Land” ist der Name des ersten neuen Songs, der über Arising Empire veröffentlicht wird. Wie schon auf ihrer EP von 2020 kombinieren Mavis kompromisslose Härte mit gefühlvollen, starken Texten in einem fast schon theatralischen Gewand.

Die hochemotionale und dynamische Gesangsleistung von Phil Donay zeigt, dass die Band einen großen Schritt nach vorne gemacht hat. Mavis starten nun in die nächste Ära ihrer jungen Karriere und versprechen, ihre musikalische Bandbreite noch weiter auszuloten.
